These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of GrupBuy (the “Platform”), operated by [Your Company Name], a company registered in the United Republic of Tanzania. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use GrupBuy.
If under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.
2. Platform Role
GrupBuy operates as a hybrid marketplace, offering:
Direct e-commerce purchases, and
Group-buying purchases, where discounts are unlocked once a minimum order quantity (“MOQ”) is reached.
GrupBuy may act as seller, agent, or intermediary depending on the product.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details.
GrupBuy is not liable for losses from unauthorized account use.
4. Orders
Direct Purchase Orders: Confirmed immediately upon payment.
Group Purchase Orders: Confirmed only if MOQ is reached. If MOQ is not achieved within the specified time, GrupBuy may cancel the order and issue a refund.
5. Payments
Payments must be made via approved methods listed on the Platform.
GrupBuy reserves the right to update payment providers at any time.
6. Refunds & Returns
Local Tanzanian products may be eligible for refund/return under conditions specified in the Terms of Sale.
Imported products are non-returnable and non-refundable, except where defective upon delivery.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and designs on GrupBuy remain the property of GrupBuy or its licensors.
8. Limitation of Liability
GrupBuy is not liable for delays, customs clearance issues, or supplier delays.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GrupBuy’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the order in question.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tanzania.
